about
I’m a multidisciplinary leader with a multi decade career spanning healthcare administration, higher education, community development, the arts, and micro-entrepreneurship. Across every role, my focus has been the same: build strong programs, find creative solutions, and create systems that help people succeed.
I specialize in roles where mission and productivity are equally important. I’m at my best taking complex work—whether operational, strategic, or community-facing—and shaping it into something functional and meaningful.
Professional Background
My work has included:
Leading a hospital-based behavioral health program and strengthening its operations and audit performance.
Managing statewide scholarship initiatives and student-support programs in higher education.
Producing community events, publications, and regional storytelling projects.
Restoring a historic Main Street property and navigating compliance, permitting, and community partnerships.
Supporting local non-profits and governmental programs through board leadership
What connects these experiences is an ability to see both the big picture and the details—and to move work forward with purpose, empathy, and a focus on mission.
Approach to Leadership
I value clear communication, thoughtful strategy, and collaborative problem solving. I’m drawn to mission-driven organizations and to roles that combine structure with creativity—spaces where good ideas need organization, momentum, and follow-through.
My work is shaped by curiosity, community, and a belief in making things better than we found them.
Beyond Work
I’m a longtime Colorado resident, an artist and writer, a mother, a gardener, and an advocate for creative community life. I enjoy building things—programs, projects, spaces, and connections—and I bring that same mindset into my professional roles.
Let’s Connect
I’m currently exploring roles in program leadership, operations, marketing, and nonprofit administration, and I take on select project-based clients through Upwork.

Biography
Elizabeth’s professional path began while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in research biology with a minor in art, where she discovered an early passion for clay that led her to studios, residencies, and teaching roles across the country.
After completing her MFA at Ohio University, she returned to Colorado to serve as Program Director for the Carbondale Clay Center while maintaining a nationally exhibiting studio practice.
A move to the remote Colorado town of Rangely allowed her to establish her own professional studio—restoring a historic building, launching multiple creative initiatives, and building a freelance graphic design business. Over time, her entrepreneurial work expanded into community leadership, event production, and publishing.
This foundation in creative program-building eventually intersected with her roles in higher education—where she spent nearly two decades as adjunct faculty, tutor, Success Coach and Grant Administrator—and later in healthcare, where she led a hospital-based behavioral health program and strengthened clinical operations, compliance, and community outreach.
Together, these experiences shape an interdisciplinary career grounded in creativity, education, and mission-driven service.
