Right now I'm primarily alternating between 2 basic mug shapes: what I call a 'belly mug,' the bottom curve of which settles nicely in the palm of your hand, and a more traditionally shaped 'straight mug. What type of mugs you want is a really personal choice- Do you drink coffee or tea? Do you like a nice big mug to steep that teabag in or a small cup to keep refilling with hot coffee?
The footed cups, or 'teabowls' come in a variety of sizes, look great lined up together on your cupboard, and are great for anything you need a tumbler for: ice tea, milk, juice, gin and tonics etc.
My cups and mugs often tend toward the really BIG, so let me know what size you're looking for.
